Joom is a brand new online sales site that intends to stand out! Its slogan “the best of China” announces the color. The prices are as cheap as on Aliexpress, and it has grown first through its mobile app. They differentiate themselves from the two leaders of the market, with a more neat design with a site and an After-Sales Service perfectly translated into French.

The sellers have 75 days to deliver the order. If the product is not delivered 75 days after the date of purchase, your order will be refunded in full. You can find more details on that matter through Joom Review

Unfortunately, sellers send the products separately, even if they have been ordered together. Your products can therefore arrive on different dates, do not worry.

Joom carriers:

The seller chooses the carrier before sending the product. If the product is shipped, you will see its tracking number on the order page. In most cases, Joom sellers choose one of these carriers :

  • China Post
  • Yanwen Express
  • Yun Express
  • SFExpress

Joom Review: Customs

Customs charges related to the 20% VAT in force in France are in very few cases applied to purchases on Joom. For orders under 150 €, no risk you will not have customs fees.

For purchases over 150 €, especially branded electronic products, if your product is inspected by customs, you will generally have 20% of the purchase price corresponding to the VAT paid to the postman or the post office in order to recover your package.

What you need to know is that under the flow of product coming from China there is very little chance that customs will inspect your product, knowing that what the customs officers are looking for is above all the large quantities destined for resale and counterfeit products. By purchasing one or more products on Joom, it is very unlikely that you will have to pay VAT on receipt of your package, but this is a possible scenario. Joom After-Sales Service

Joom delivers the product according to its description within 75 days of purchase.

If you have not received the product within 75 days, or if you believe the product does not meet the description, contact joom customer service. On Joom, the solution is in favor of the customer in 90% of the cases.

You have several ways to contact them:

  • Click the icon at the top right, specify the subject of your request and talk to the support agents!
  • Go to My Orders and click “Order Questions”. If you cannot find the answer in the suggested questions, click the icon at the top right, specify the subject of your request and talk to the support agents!
  • Sometimes you will be directly connected to the chat with support agents after pressing “No” on the green bar at the bottom of the order page

Terms of refund

You can get a full refund if :

  • More than 75 days have elapsed since the date of purchase and the product has not yet been delivered.
  • The quality of the product is considerably worse than what is seen in the description and it is impossible to consume the product properly.
  • You have changed your mind about the order within 14 days of delivery. In this case, you can return the goods to the seller. Do not forget to contact the technical support team to request the return address. Otherwise, Joom reserves the right to refuse your refund request. Refund is only made when proof of return shipping is presented to the technical agents. Joom does not participate in the return costs.

You can get a partial refund if you :

  • The quality of the product is slightly different from that described in the description and you can still consume the product.

What is the refund period?

The refund may take up to 14 days from the cancellation date. In most cases, the amount is paid to your bank account 2-3 days after the cancellation.
